About

Because some blogs that will remain unmentioned (but linked to) only employ people with law degrees, we have taken it upon ourselves to maintain a blog as legal amateurs. The posts will focus mostly on the United States Supreme Court, past, present, future, and sometimes fictional, but may meander into other legal topics that strike our fancy.

In the 1992 Supreme Court case R.A.V. v. City of St. Paul, Justice John Paul Stevens called the majority’s reasoning “an adventure in doctrinal wonderland.” Our analysis aspires to match that lofty title.

Feel free to email doctrinalwonderland@gmail.com with questions, comments, rants, and legal summonses. Comments are also welcomed and encouraged in the comment sections of the posts. Don’t hold back.
